Disable Manual Entry of Credit Cards

Introduction

You can configure ChargeLogic Payments to prevent the manual entry of credit card numbers in the back office. This is most useful if you are using a secure card entry device, like a SREDKey device.

To get started, navigate to the EFT Setup Card.

Prevent Manual Account Number Entry

To prevent manual entry of credit card account numbers, turn on the “Prevent Manual Account Number Entry” option in EFT Setup.

While this option is enabled, users will not be able to key in credit card numbers and will instead need to use other methods of getting the credit card number, like a SREDKey device or PIN pad.
