Open Cash Drawer

The Open Drawer button on the POS will trigger the cash drawer to open. Permission for this button is usually restricted to Store Managers.

Audit

Each time the cash drawer is opened by the system, an EFT Transaction with a Method Type of Audit is generated. This transaction will record the date, time, user/cashier, and other information about the event. You can view the EFT Transaction List by selecting Payment Transactions from the Sales menu on your home page.
